Melody Cortez
Front Desk Receptionist - McAllen
I graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Forensic Psychology in September 2024. Prior to completing my degree, I had mixed experience as a Medical Assistant and Medical Receptionist for over six years.
My passion lies in understanding people and guiding them through life's challenges. As an aspiring Forensic Psychologist, I'm committed to applying psychological principles to complex situations, aiming for clarity and understanding—skills I believe are invaluable in counseling.
I'm dedicated to applying psychological insights to understand human behavior and promote justice and well-being. Connecting with individuals, understanding their unique stories, and offering support based on sound principles truly excites me.
My experience as a receptionist further developed my compassion and analytical abilities. This client-facing role taught me the importance of active listening, clear communication, and creating a welcoming and supportive environment where every interaction matters.
I am eager to utilize my skills in any way possible to guide the practice and its patients in their journey toward well-being.
