Iris Vasquez

Iris Vasquez is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor with over 10 years’ experience working with children, adolescents and adults. She has worked with individuals with a struggling with depression, anxiety,  ADHD, Autism (verbal only), Adjustment Disorders, Conduct/Behavioral Disorders, Parenting Concerns, Trauma Related Disorders, Chronic Pain, and Somatic Disorders.

 

Ms. Iris utilizes strategies from play therapy and similar modalities when working with children. She utilizes an eclectic approach when working with teens and adults, ensuring she tailors her interventions to fit the unique needs of each of her clients. She has experience incorporating Christian counseling into her therapy for clients seeking faith based services.

Ms. Iris obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Psychology and Masters Degree as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) from The University of Texas Pan American (now known as The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley).
