Victoria B. Gomez

Victoria Gomez is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitative Services and her Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Texas Pan American. She has experience working with children, adolescents and their families, and young adults. Ms. Gomez has worked with people from various backgrounds which include people with trauma, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, relationship issues, major life changes, and behavioral issues.  She utilizes a person centered approach to counseling, allowing the person to have some control over the pace of their progress. Rapport building, trust, and humor is a little bit of what Ms. Gomez strives for when it comes to the therapeutic relationship. She recently completed basic training in EMDR and is working towards full certification.
